Privacy Policy

Selka is a product of Fluxo Pte Ltd (“Selka”, “we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This policy explains what we collect and why.

Our role

Selka provides the software that merchants use to run a storefront and take orders or bookings. When you order from a store on Selka, the merchant is the primary controller of your data and is responsible for fulfilling your order; Selka processes that data on their behalf to operate the service.

What we collect

  • Merchant accounts: email address, store details, and payment configuration (e.g. PayNow UEN). Payment-provider API keys are stored encrypted and are never shared or shown to other users.
  • Customers of a store: name, WhatsApp number, the items ordered or appointment booked, delivery address (if applicable), notes, and any payment-proof image you upload.
  • Technical: standard logs and limited request metadata used to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use it

  • To create and operate the storefront and process orders/bookings.
  • To notify the merchant of new orders, payments and changes.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud and to keep the platform secure.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

  • The merchant whose store you order from.
  • Payment providers (e.g. HitPay, Stripe) when you choose to pay online — to process that payment.
  • Infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under contract (e.g. Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting).
  • Authorities where required by law.

Retention

We keep data for as long as the relevant account or store is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion (see below).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so each merchant can only see their own store’s data, and payment secrets are never exposed to the browser.

Your PDPA rights

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for its use. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy question, contact us below. If your data was provided to a specific store, you may also contact that merchant directly.
